2024 Annual School Improvement Plan
The school’s 2023 School Review is used to guide and support the development of annual School Improvement plans. In 2023, an explicit instructional model aligned to structured Literacy and Maths blocks was implemented, as part of a collaborative endeavour, involving coaching, modelling, and peer review. The Wanguri playbook as well as Literacy, Numeracy and wellbeing Actions Plans were developed to ensure students received a low variance curriculum with an explicit, coherent, and sequenced plan for the learning. As part of the BSEM, clarity regarding the use of Brain breaks and Buddy Class was sort from individual teachers and further work in 2024 in this area, including PL for all teachers on BSEM will ensure all members of the school community are active in the wellbeing of our students.
